I got really excited to see people keeping track of their way to debt freedom through Debt Thermometer, so I decided to create one for myself. Now, I'll be keeping track of my debt pay-off in a visual way. Year-to-date paid off $24,040.10.

Love it! I might have to copy yours, it is very much my style! How did you get it to be so clean and straight and pretty?

Thank you all for a great feedback. I figured it will hang there for some time so it better be pretty.

Fletcha- I got it so nice and clean with ruler to creat straight lines and CD to create a circle. And some measurement to figure out height of each line that represents $1,000 Perhaps I should do a tutorial on how to create nice and clean Debt Thermometer

I was JUST wishing for something like this an hour ago! NICE idea. Only.. since I'm artistically challenged, I'm gonna see what I can come up with on my art program.. and .. smaller, I guess? (I have a tiny fridge!

Thanks for that idea!

You all do realize that this would be a great way to keep track of BS3, too, right?

We have one for BS6, but it's the opposite of most people's. I drew the whole thing in red, as debt means we're in the red. Each time we pay off more, I lower the "fever" by drawing black over it.

Once we get down to the $6k bulb, we can pay the rest off in one fell swoop.

I love it!!! It looks almost identical to mine, and my original debt was $112k and we're about at the same point on the thermometer. Debt thermometer twins lol!
